BritBox International Expands Deal With BAFTA for AWARDS Ceremonies
BritBox has announced an expanded deal with BAFTA, securing the broadcast rights for the EE BAFTA Film Awards and the BAFTA Television Awards. The agreement includes exclusive simulcast streaming of both ceremonies in 2024 and 2025 for BritBox audiences in several countries, including the US, Canada, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Australia.
The BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises will air in May 2024 and will showcase the best television content from 2023. This marks the first time that the television awards will be broadcast in North America, South Africa, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
The 77th EE BAFTA Film Awards will be streamed live from London on February 18th, 2024. The event will be hosted by David Tennant, with Clara Amfo and Alex Zane hosting the red carpet coverage.
