Hemingway Episode 1, March 24, BBC Four
On Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 11.40pm, BBC Four presents the first episode of the six part documentary series “Hemingway.” This series delves into the life of Ernest Hemingway, one of America’s most revered literary figures whose influence resonates worldwide. Offering an intimate portrayal of the writer while exploring the myths surrounding him, the series reveals a complex and troubled individual who left an indelible mark on literature.
By closely examining biographical events in Hemingway’s life and drawing from excerpts of his writings, this documentary provides insight into both his personal struggles and controversial works.
