HGTV’s “Zillow Gone Wild” Premieres Friday, May 3

HGTV is premiering a new real estate series, “Zillow Gone Wild,” on Friday, May 3, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The show is inspired by the popular Instagram account @zillowgonewild, which showcases unusual and unique homes from across the country. With nearly two million followers, the Instagram account has sparked a fascination for quirky and extraordinary properties.

The series will be hosted by actor and comedian Jack McBrayer, known for his Emmy-nominated role in “30 Rock.” McBrayer will take viewers on a tour of America’s weirdest, wildest, and most distinctive homes, meeting the owners and exploring the stories behind these unconventional abodes.

Each episode will feature three weird, wonderful, and wildly quirky homes, as well as the people who own them. The backstories of the buyers and sellers will be shared, along with the unique histories of each property. The series will also highlight creative ways to market unique properties.

In addition to the eight half-hour episodes, there will be a one-hour season finale where HGTV will proclaim one home as the “wildest” of them all. Viewers can participate in the “Wild and Win Contest” by guessing which home will be crowned the “Wildest House.” The winner of the contest will receive a $25,000 cash prize.

“Zillow Gone Wild” will take viewers across the country, from a jazz musician-designed home in Berkeley, California, with gold accents and saxophone exterior columns, to a historic New Orleans property brimming with eclectic charm. The series promises to deliver astounding design elements and plenty of “wow” moments.

The show is produced by Asylum Entertainment Group and will be available to stream on Max the same day as its HGTV premiere.
