Jeopardy! Masters Returns for Season 2 with High-Stakes Competition

Jeopardy! Masters returns to ABC for its second season, featuring six of the highest-ranked current “Jeopardy!” contestants. The season premiere, airing on May 1, 2024, promises two action-packed and intense games, continuing the show’s tradition of thrilling competitions.

Hosted once again by Ken Jennings, the new season welcomes back notable Jeopardy! champions, including James Holzhauer, Matt Amodio, and Mattea Roach. Joining them are newcomers Victoria Groce, the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament winner, and Yogesh Raut, the Tournament of Champions winner. The sixth and final “wildcard” contestant, chosen by the show’s producers, adds an element of surprise to the competition.

The contestants will face off in a Champions League-style format, with each round revealing the location of the Daily Double to the television audience. The structure of the tournament consists of nine hour-long episodes, each featuring two games, for a total of eighteen games.

The competition is fierce, with contestants vying for a grand prize of $500,000 and the prestigious title of Jeopardy! Masters Champion. The second-place winner will receive $250,000, while the third-place contestant will take home $150,000. Even those who don’t make it to the finals will receive substantial prizes, with fourth place earning $100,000, fifth place receiving $75,000, and sixth place getting $50,000.
