John Mulaney is set to host a new six-part comedy special, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA, which will stream live on Netflix during the Netflix Is A Joke Fest. The special will debut on May 3, with additional episodes airing nightly from May 6 to 10. All episodes will be available to stream at 7 pm PT.
Mulaney, a two-time Emmy Award winner, will explore the city of Los Angeles during a week when many comedians are in town. The show will feature a mix of special guests and field pieces shot across the city. Mulaney will also perform at the Hollywood Bowl on May 4 as part of the festival.
This continues the successful partnership between Mulaney and Netflix, with the comedian having previously released three stand-up specials and a variety special, John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch, on the platform. Mulaney won Emmys for two of his Netflix specials.
Netflix Is A Joke Fest will run from May 2 to May 12, 2024, and will feature over 300 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, sketches, and more. The event will take place at various iconic venues across Los Angeles, including the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek, The Dolby, and The Forum.
