“Selling Houses Australia” Season 15 Will Premiere This March on LifeStyle

The 15th season of the popular Lifestyle Channel series “Selling Homes Australia” will premiere in March.

Award-winning host and real estate expert Andrew Winter, interior design expert Wendy Moore, and landscape designer Dennis Scott are back for the 15th season of the FOXTEL original series Selling Houses Australia, the show’s most ambitious and toughest season to date.

In the current economic climate of rising interest rates, declining property values, and cash-strapped homeowners, the team has their job cut out for them in transforming truly unsaleable homes into marketable ones.

Each episode features a different troublesome property in Australia and the people who own them who are anxious for a solution to the problem of their home not selling.

There’s the stereotypical cluttered Queenslander; the rural house that’s lost a quarter of its worth and isn’t done falling. The Sydney property that has been on the market for ten years, but has been empty for the past fifty. And  the Melbourne home that looks more like a demolition zone than a place to raise a family.

Host Andrew Winter commented: “This season is like no other as we came off the tail end of the property boom and headed into a changing market on a downward cycle. Selling Houses Australia is like a barometer for the general housing market… and the season was flipped on its head as the residential housing market was taking a hit in both values and demand. I was nervous that we would struggle to sell. However Wendy, Dennis and I were up for the challenge. Despite having the most challenging sales volumes of any season of Selling Houses Australia.”

The Selling Houses Australia crew have their work cut out for them, with homeowners who are desperate to sell and unreasonable in their expectations.
