“That ’90s Show” Season 2 Renewal From Netflix
Netflix have given a season 2 renewal to “That ’90s Show”, the sequel to “That ’70s Show”.
In 1995, Leia Forman is longing for a new experience, or at the very least, a best friend who isn’t her father. After traveling to Point Place to see her grandparents, Leia discovers the vibrant and defiant Gwen next door.
Leia learns that, just like it did for her parents many years ago, adventure could happen there with the help of Gwen’s friends, including her beloved brother Nate and his clever, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki, the snarky and observant Ozzie, and the lovely Jay.
She has convinced her parents to keep her home for the summer so that she can try out a new identity. Kitty is thrilled that the Forman mansion is once again a safe haven for teenagers, but Red is, well, Red.
When the first season launched on January 19, 2023, it quickly rose to the Top 10 English TV list on Netflix in 35 countries, with viewers logging more than 41 million hours.
That ’90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos.
Also returning to Point Place are creators Bonnie and Terry Turner – this time with their daughter Lindsey Turner – showrunner/executive producer Gregg Mettler, and executive producers Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner. Joining the show are executive producers Jessica Goldstein, Chrissy Pietrosh, and Mandy Summers.
