The nineteenth season of the British reality television series The Hotel Inspector continues on Channel 5. In each episode, celebrated hotelier and businesswoman Alex Polizzi visits a struggling British hotel to offer advice and suggestions to improve the guest experience and turn its fortunes around.

In “Billy Andy’s“, airing on Thursday 9 May, Polizzi travels to Northern Ireland to assist Hotelier Eamon, owner of Billy Andy’s, a bed and breakfast, pub, and restaurant nestled near the quaint Gleno village and boasting a history that dates back to the 1800s. Strategically positioned on the renowned Causeway Coastal Route, the establishment welcomes an impressive influx of nearly a million tourists annually.

However, despite this promising footfall, Eamon finds himself in a financial quagmire, with the business hemorrhaging thousands of pounds each month just to stay afloat. The perfect storm of dwindling trade and acute staff shortages has forced Eamon to restrict the bar and restaurant operations to weekends only.

As the situation intensifies, Eamon is left with no choice but to don multiple hats, single-handedly juggling various roles to keep his dream from fading away.

In the episode, Polizzi provides strategic advice to enhance the guest experience and address the operational challenges of running a B&B. She also meets with select guests who stayed at the B&B, including travel writers and target customers, to gain their insights and perspectives.

Since the episode was filmed, Billy Andy’s has been renamed Sixty Six, with the new name derived from its street address of 66 Browndod Road. This rebranding has sparked curiosity among fans, leaving them eager to learn more about the reasons behind the change.
