Cherished (BBC Drama, Sarah Lancashire, Timothy Spall)

Cherished was a drama based on the true story of Angela Cannings (played by Sarah Lancashire) who was jailed for the murder of her three cot-death babies.

It then follows the efforts of her husband Terry (Timothy Spall) and her legal team to clear her name – ultimately successful but only after she had served 18-months in prison.
