Clubs (BBC 1979, John Arnatt, Robert Dorning)
Comedy drama broadcast under the Turning Year Tales banner. The golf club has voted in a new Captain. He has ambitions to improve and change the club. He sets his sights on the club Professional, a lazy man who’s interest in golf has wained in recent years. However, he is much loved in the club so the Captain can’t just sack him. Instead he decides to discredited him by organising a foursome of golf with the Professional up against the man the Captain wants to replace him with, the mysterious Starrat.
