Get Christie Love (ABC 1974-1975, Teresa Graves)

Crime drama series Get Christie Love told cases of a black female police detective (the Christie Love of the title) who worked undercover as part of the Special Investigations Division of the LAPD. The series is based in part on the real-life experiences of Olga Ford, a New York City Police Woman.

The sexy Christie was not averse to using her feminine wiles to get the bad guys but is tough too, more often than not goes her own way on a case much to the frustration of her partner Joe Caruso and their boss Arthur P. Ryan.

Christie and Joe would often hang out in Caruso’s Restaurant run by Joe’s dad Papa Luigi.

The pilot featured a slightly different cast and character line up with Andy Romano’s character called Sergeant Seymour Greenberg and their boss was Captain Casey Reardon (played by Harry Guardino)
