Gimme Gimme Gimme (BBC-2 1999-2001, Kathy Burke, James Dreyfus)

Sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme focused on sex obsessed Linda La Hughes who shares a flat with gay Tom Farrell. Tom was a seemingly always out of work actor whilst Linda didn’t actually do anything.

Despite being overweight, loud, potty mouthed and unattractive Linda thinks she’s gorgeous and irrestible. Tom, meanwhile, despite never scoring any actual acting jobs is convinced he is Olivier material.

Even though they share a flat Tom and Lynda don’t actually like each other.

The theme, naturally enough given the show’s title, was Abba’s Gimme Gimme Gimme.
