Mary, Mary (ITV Drama, Lynne Miller, Nigel Havers)

In resolutely downbeat one off drama Mary, Mary young Mary Maclean (Lynne Miller) follows her boyfriend to London, he deserts her leaving her pregnant. She then has a miscarriage and later finds herself in court on a baby snatching charge.

The TV Times of the week (6 Apr 1974) had an interview with author Susan Pleat, she had a broad portfolio working on shows like Coronation Street and kids show Pipkins as well as shows like Within These Walls and Angels.
