Bergerac: House Guests (BBC-1 4 Feb 1984, with Patrick Allen)

In House Guests, the final episode of the third season, Bergerac is put in charge of the police side of a major operation looking after a group of prominent businessman attending a conference. The men are all high-flyers and it is feared that they may be the target of a criminal or terrorist attack. Jim is liaising with former solider turned security expert Major Cranshaw

Cranshaw has a right to be concerned, a trio of terrorists are on the island intent on attacking the conference.

Jim is also tracking a group of “pirates” who are targeting boats on the island. It’s this investigation that leads Jim to the terrorists who are living on a boat that is also a target of the pirates.
