All In The Game (Channel 4 2006, Ray Winstone, Roy Marsden)

Drama All In The Game focused on Frankie, a premiership football manager whose team is struggling in the relegation zone of the league and he is coming under pressure from his club chairman to perform whilst Frankie himslef is abusing the system with his son to make money on the side with scurrilous transfer deals.

A seemingly quite realistic glimpse in to the modern football world with all its thuggery, double dealing, scandal and even some soccer. Winstone was typically excellent as the manager who ends up losing the plot.
