Paradise Bay (NBC 1965-1966, Keith Andes, Marion Ross)

Paradise Bay

Soap opera set in the fictional town of Paradise Bay which was located on the Southern California coast. Jeff Morgan was the main character and he was the manager of the local radio station. His wife Mary was something of a gossip and his daughter Kitty was in a band called The Moonglows.

The biggest plot point happened on the shows debut when a local girl, Sally Baxter, was found dead on the beach. Prime suspect was her boyfriend Duke Spaulding – a family friend of the Morgans.

Paradise Bay ended up losing out big time in the ratings to ABC’s The Dating Game and was cancelled mid 1966.
