Teenage Health Freak (Channel 4 1991-1993, Alex Langdon, Liza Walker)

Teenage Health Freak

Sitcom Teenage Health Freak was a 1990’s take on Adrian Mole. Teenager Peter Payne has all the usual adolescent problems, however rather than putting pen to paper, he uses a video camera to record all the things in his life, especially his failure to ‘get off’ with the Amanda Jeffs, the girl of his dreams.

Series writer Daniel Peacock is much better known for his acting work but scored strongly with some entertaining moments here.

Liza Walker as Amanda Jeffs, the object of Peter’s desires.
