A Murder in the Family Series Premiere (ITVX Thursday 5 January 2023)

Today Thursday 5 January 2023, there is a new episode of A Murder in the Family.

Series Premiere This new true crime series analyses three horrifying murders in which the victim and the perpetrator are related.

Each tale is pieced together from the victim’s point of view, without commentary, using found footage taken from the victim’s social media videos and police bodycam film, text messages, or phone recordings.

This new series for ITVX comes from Knickerbockerglory TV, the creators of Netflix’s most watched documentary, American Murder: the Family Next Door, and offers a detailed look at the nature of murders committed within families and the effects on those left behind.

The series will reveal that beneath the happy photos and everyday texts of one family is a terrible horror story. These killings aren’t random acts of violence, but rather calculated acts of control or revenge that destroy families forever.
