Antiques Road Trip Today Monday 8 August 2022 on BBC One
What’s happening on Antiques Road Trip Today Monday 8 August on BBC One; James Braxton and Natasha Raskin Sharp, two authorities in the field of antiques, are currently in rural Devonshire. Both have participated in numerous Road Trips, but this is their first time facing off. They set out in search of lucrative treasure with £200 to spend and a rather sporty 1970s Porsche to take them around the county.
James discovers his happy place in the storeroom of an antiques store and fiercely defends it from his rival while being surrounded by deals. A meat platter, some extremely expensive ass’s milk, and two dummy ducks provide James with plenty of entertainment. Natasha, meanwhile, considers a variety of things, from crustaceans to musical instruments made from cows.
Away from the shops, James travels to the river Dart and takes the wheel of a rather unusual boat that was constructed in the 1920s to carry tourists. In the meantime, Natasha enters the rugby field to learn more about the first black player to represent England internationally. Has she got what it takes to make the first team, though?
Their Devonian adventure ends up at a vineyard for a spot of wine tasting and auction watching. Will they be toasting success, or drowning their sorrows?
This episode is a repeat.
Airdate: Monday 8 August 2022 at 4.30pm on BBC One.
