The series will feature Bradley’s interviews with friends such as Alexander Armstrong, Omid Djalili, Jo Brand, Stephen K Amos, Su Pollard, Alison Steadman, Les Dennis, and others to uncover the genius of comedy legends such as Tommy Cooper, Lee Mack, Victoria Wood, Bob Monkhouse, Little and Large, and The Two Ronnies.
The episode will also delve into Bradley’s own sitcom experiences, as he and a cast of top sitcom stars seek out the secrets of success for British classics including Steptoe and Son, The Liver Birds, Hi-de-Hi, The Young Ones, Gavin & Stacey, ‘Allo ‘Allo, Dad’s Army, and Absolutely Fabulous. Bradley will question what makes a sitcom successful and why some shows endure for years, sharing classic moments that changed comedy forever and examining the key to a successful sitcom capturing the mood of a nation.
