The real estate agents of UK Sotheby’s International Realty are the focus of this new season of the hit series. There is a lot of competition for the business of extremely well-off consumers in the super prime real estate market. Agents must exert greater effort than ever before to win over extremely wealthy, extremely picky clients and seal those multimillion-pound deals.
Lee, Director of North and West London, lists a grade 1 terraced house with a view of the lake at Regents Park. It was constructed in 1822 and is one of the most expensive houses in the UK at a staggering £29 million. It was designed by the famous Regency architect John Nash. Lee anticipates a great deal of interest from affluent international clients due to the property’s plethora of amenities, including its six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, multiple reception rooms, walled garden, gym, and detached mews house.
Over in another part of London, Guy, managing director of UK Sotheby’s International Realty, has been tasked with selling a houseboat with some unique features. Nicholas Bonham, of Bonham’s auction house, owns the Prospect Belle, which he and his wife have called home for many years while moored in Wandsworth. Not your average barge, this one has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and has been used to host royal guests. Can Guy close the deal and make the couple some money?
Christine, a real estate agent in Bath, takes Guy on a tour of D’oro House, a grand mansion in the Georgian style. This spectacular home, listed at £4.25 million, is situated on the grounds of a manor house dating back to the late 17th century and features luxurious finishes throughout. The £50,000 floating staircase made of Bath stone is the focal point of the enormous foyer. With tasteful decor by Ralph Lauren, Guy recommends that Christine advertise the home on social media. Will Christine, however, be able to attract the ideal buyer?
And back in London, Constance’s friends Ollie and Phoebe have asked her to assess the worth of the canal-side flat they purchased five years ago for £850,000. Constance thinks she can get the couple more than £1 million because the two-bedroom home is ideal for use as a buy-to-let in the current market.
