Charlie (Ryan Corr) realises he needs to keep busy in order to cope with his loss and Nate’s (Bob Morley) ghost, so he goes back to work, where the boys have raised a flag in his honour.

Nate convinces Charlie that opening a last-minute ‘Santa’ shop to rescue Bella’s (Kamillia Rihani) Christmas is his way out of the doldrums. Before Charlie can get back in the crane, he must pass a work psych test, to which he only reluctantly agrees.

Frank (Russell Dykstra) confides in Charlie about the guilt and shame he feels over Nate’s death and his past actions. And while everyone is keeping a straight face at the holiday dinner table, Nate sends a message that breaks the tension.

Freya (Emma Harvie) is shocked to hear Maria’s (Lena Cruz) account of Nate’s death, but Charlie is quick to come to Maria’s defence.

While on a date with Lily (Philippa North-east), Charlie learns that Beth (Jane Harber) has a new boyfriend and receives an emergency call from Freya, prompting him to cancel their evening together. A mysterious package has been delivered to her. Is there a connection between this and the missing funds?
