Today 2023-01-11, there is a new episode of No Place Like Home.

Victoria Derbyshire Journalist and TV host Victoria Derbyshire returns to her Greater Manchester hometown and learns about a rich history she was previously unaware of.

Beginning close to where she grew up in Littleborough, Victoria visits with her mother and discusses the good and bad times they had there.

At the Rochdale Canal, Victoria hears about the awful working conditions at the cotton mill and how child labour was common, and at a nearby tanning factory, she discovers that the proprietors provided an escape route for German Jews during World War II.
