Money and Me Bellies Not Bins: Danielle, a single mother of five from Sheffield, has recently struggled to put food on the table like many other people. She and her kids’ lives have been changed as a result of an app she found on her phone last year that allowed her to get free food.

After experiencing years of adversity, Ronnie has created a new life for herself as a chef at the Refuse café in Chester, where she instructs women on how to prepare delectable soul food using ingredients that would typically be thrown out. Ronnie assists Kamara, a student in her class, in preparing healthy meals as she works to resume her employment.

Volunteers Richard and Tracey collect food waste from supermarkets and distribute it in the neighbourhood.
