Alex Scott on Co-Hosting This Years BBC Children in Need

Alex Scott MBE is excited to be returning as a presenter for BBC Children in Need, which will air on the BBC on November 17. She loves being a part of the show and looks forward to it every year. Having a live audience makes it even more special for her. The whole evening is magical, and she feels honored to be presenting with such an incredible team. The stories from the children and the generosity of the British public never cease to amaze her.

When asked if she gets nervous or excited before the show begins, Alex admits to feeling a bit of both. She wants to do her best to help raise as much money as possible and make the night as special as it can be.

Presenting such a long live TV show on BBC One is a challenge, but Alex believes that preparation is key. She likes to make sure she is super prepared for everything she does. This involves reading through scripts, doing research, and getting in the zone by listening to 90’s RnB backstage.

Alex is most looking forward to raising as much money as possible during the BBC Children in Need show. There will be brilliant sketches, special editions of beloved programs, and stellar performances from special guests. This year’s show is set to be bigger than ever.

Presenting BBC Children in Need is a huge honor for Alex. The show is iconic in the UK, and she feels privileged to be a part of it. She encourages all those fundraising this year, thanking them for making a difference in the lives of children and young people across the UK.

BBC Children in Need has been fundamental in helping families. It has raised over £1 billion for children and young people facing challenges in every corner of the UK. The generosity of the public never ceases to amaze Alex.

During these difficult times, Alex emphasizes the importance of supporting BBC Children in Need. The organization exists to change the lives of children and young people, providing them with support and opportunities to thrive. Every child deserves a chance to be the best they can be and have a safe and supported childhood.

BBC Children in Need continues to matter because it is dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. It has been going strong for over 40 years, and Alex believes its enduring appeal lies in the desire to help and support each other.

Alex has many favorite memories from past BBC Children in Need shows, including the amazing Sir Terry Wogan, the Pudsey challenges, and The Repair Shop. Each year, the show is incredible and filled with inspiring stories.

To viewers watching, Alex encourages them to tune in for an amazing night of entertainment, inspiring stories, generosity, and fun. Every donation makes a difference, especially during these challenging times.

After the show, Alex plans to relax by calling her mom. The show always leaves her feeling grateful for the important people in her life.
