AMC Networks Spring 2024 Premieres
AMC Networks has announced an exciting lineup of shows and films across its various channels and streaming services this spring. Here are some highlights:
ACORN TV:
– “Murdoch Mysteries” Season 17 premieres on February 26th. The new season follows William Murdoch and Julia Ogden as they try to escape their captors and return to Toronto. Meanwhile, other characters face their own challenges, including a mission from Crabtree’s past.
– “The Brokenwood Mysteries” Season 10 premieres on April 29th. Detectives Mike Shepherd, Kristin Sims, and Daniel Chalmers continue to solve unusual crimes in the town of Brokenwood.
ALLBLK:
– “Supa Girlz” is a new series that follows the Miami Northwestern dance team as they navigate the challenges of being one of the best high school dance teams in the country. Premieres on March 7th.
– “My Mane Problem” Season 2 premieres on April 25th. Celebrity stylist Dr. Boogie helps individuals transform their hair and boost their self-confidence.
AMC & AMC+:
– “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” is a new series that explores the love story of Rick and Michonne in a world changed by zombies. Premieres on February 25th.
– “Parish” is an action-packed drama starring Giancarlo Esposito as Gracian “Gray” Parish, a family man who gets caught up in a violent criminal syndicate after his son’s murder. Premieres on March 31st.
– “Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire” Season 2 continues the story of Louis de Pointe du Lac as he recounts his adventures in Europe and his encounter with the vampire Armand. Premieres on May 12th.
BBC AMERICA & AMC+:
– “Planet Earth III: Bonus Edition” features behind-the-scenes segments of the nature series. Premieres on February 17th.
– “Predator v Prey” is a new nature series that showcases apex predators like lions and wolves as they face off against their prey. Premieres on April 20th.
IFC & AMC+:
– “In the Kitchen with Harry Hamlin” is a new cooking show hosted by Harry Hamlin and his niece Renee Guilbault. They share recipes, kitchen tips, and host dinner parties. Premieres on May 15th.
SHUDDER & AMC+:
– “History of Evil” is a new film set in a theocratic police state where an isolated man living in a caravan park encounters a mysterious creature. Premieres on February 23rd.
– “You’ll Never Find Me” is a film about a desperate woman seeking shelter from a storm who visits an isolated man living alone. Premieres on March 22nd.
– “Baghead” follows Iris, who inherits her father’s pub but soon discovers the presence of a shape-shifting creature in its basement. Premieres on April 5th.
– “Infested” is about Kaleb, who unwittingly involves his family in an ordeal when he brings home a venomous spider. Premieres on April 26th.
SUNDANCE NOW & AMC+:
– “Far North” is inspired by New Zealand’s largest meth bust and follows the lives of Tongan-Australian gang members and an ordinary Kiwi couple caught up in their criminal activities. Premiered on February 15th.
– “The Long Shadow” tells the story of the five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, known as the Yorkshire Ripper. Premieres on March 21st.
– “Scrublands” follows investigative journalist Martin Scarsden as he uncovers the truth behind murder cases in small towns across America. Premieres in May.
SUNDANCE TV & AMC+:
– “True Crime Story: Smugshot” is a new documentary series that examines criminals who believe they can’t be caught. Premieres on March 14th.
– “True Crime Story: It Couldn’t Happen Here” Season 2 follows host Hilarie Burton Morgan as she investigates murder cases in small towns across America. Premieres on April 18th.
WE TV & ALLBLK:
– “Mama June: Family Crisis” returns for a new season, following the challenges and triumphs of Mama June’s family as they navigate health issues, college decisions, and financial troubles. Premieres on February 9th.
– “Bold & Bougie” is a new reality series following the lives of Malaysia Pargo, Tameka Foster, Gocha Hawkins, Princess Banton-Lofters, and Crystal Smith as they live unapologetically and support each other. Premieres on February 15th.
– “The Barnes Bunch” follows NBA Champion Matt Barnes and his fiancée Anansa Sims as they navigate parenthood with their six children. Premieres on April 11th.
– “Love During Lockup” explores the early stages of romance between prisoners and non-cons as they navigate challenges and uncover secrets. Premieres on April 19th.
