CTV Announces Holiday Lineup

CTV and its suite of specialty channels have announced their holiday lineup for 2023. The schedule includes a variety of fan-favorite and new seasonal movies, festive specials, binge-worthy marathons, and holiday-themed episodes of popular series.

Some of the classic holiday movies that will be shown on CTV include “Elf,” “Christmas with the Kranks,” “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” “The Holiday,” “Home Alone,” and “A Christmas Carol.” There will also be seasonal specials and episodes of series such as “Shark Tank,” “MasterChef Junior,” “Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip: Christmas Vacation,” “The Masked Singer: Holiday Sing-A-Long,” “CMA Country Christmas,” “Password,” and “Night Court.”

CTV2 will also have holiday-themed episodes of shows like “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” the season finale of “The $100,000 Pyramid,” and “LEGO Masters Holiday Bricktacular.” They will also air movies like “The Santa Clause,” “Frozen,” “The Sound of Music,” “Miracle on 34th Street,” and “A Christmas Carol” throughout the holiday season.

The Original Santa Claus Parade will return to CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app on December 9th.

CTV’s Holiday Hub, available on CTV.ca and the CTV app, will offer over 250 titles and 18 curated collections of holiday content. This includes free movies, full seasons of CTV Original series, holiday-themed episodes of classic series, and festive recipes.

CTV Specialty programming, available on CTV.ca and the CTV app, will feature over 150 hours of holiday movies on CTV Life Channel. Some of the movies include “A Paris Christmas Waltz,” “Catch Me If You Claus,” “My Christmas Hero,” “Christmas on Windmill Way,” “A Not So Royal Christmas,” “The Jinglebell Jubilee,” “Meet Me Under the Mistletoe,” and “An Ice Palace Romance.” CTV Sci-Fi Channel will also have action-packed marathons of Marvel favorites like “The Avengers: Infinity War,” “The Avengers: Endgame,” “Captain Marvel,” and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”

To celebrate the holidays, CTV’s suite of specialty channels will offer a nationwide free preview from December 21st to January 9th. This includes CTV Life Channel, CTV Sci-Fi Channel, CTV Drama Channel, and CTV Comedy Channel.
