Dick Wolf’s “FBI” Crime Dramas Renewed by CBS for 2024-2025 Season
CBS has renewed its three popular “FBI” dramas for the 2024-2025 season, with the original “FBI” series being renewed for three seasons, taking it through to its ninth season. “FBI: Most Wanted” will return for its sixth season, while “FBI: International” has been renewed for a fourth season.
The “FBI” franchise, produced by Dick Wolf, has dominated the Tuesday night back-to-back time slots, with all three series ranking as the top three Tuesday primetime programs. “FBI” is the third most-watched broadcast series overall, while “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International” are the tenth and eleventh most popular broadcast dramas, respectively.
Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, praised the success of the franchise, stating, “The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule… We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”
Dick Wolf expressed his gratitude for the renewals, saying, “Obviously, I’m thrilled by the pickups. We are all extremely grateful to George [Cheeks] and Amy [Reisenbach] and their entire team.”
The renewals of these three series reinforce CBS’s commitment to delivering engaging and popular programming to its viewers, with the network expressing confidence in the continued success of the “FBI” franchise.
