UNKNOWN: The Lost Pyramid

Two of the most well-known Egyptologists in the world are currently digging for ancient artifacts in the desert of Saqqara. Dr. Mostafa Waziri, the legendary Dr. Zahi Hawass’s protege and rival, is on the hunt for an unlooted tomb in an ancient necropolis, while Dr. Zahi Hawass himself is looking for the long-lost pyramid of a forgotten Egyptian king. Time is of the essence as both groups compete to see who can make the more significant discovery.

Paleoanthropologist Lee Berger discovered the oldest graveyard on Earth in South Africa’s Cradle of Mankind, but it does not contain human remains. Everything we know about hominid evolution and the beginnings of belief stands to be overturned if Lee and his team can demonstrate that this ancient, small brained, ape-like creature engaged in complex burial rituals.
