FX Hulu Renew “The Bear” For Season Three
FX Entertainment has confirmed the continuation of “The Bear” with a season three renewal, as announced by President Nick Grad. The first two installments of the series are available for streaming exclusively on Hulu.
Upon returning, season three will be accessible to audiences on Hulu within the United States, with availability extending to Star+ subscribers in Latin America and viewers on Disney+ in all other regions.
“The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” said Grad. “We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear.”
In its current standing, the series has garnered 13 Emmy Award nominations for its first season. The nominations span several categories, highlighting achievements in acting for cast members including Jeremy Allen White and others, as well as in writing, directing, and various aspects of production.
The first season received accolades such as an AFI TV Program of the Year designation and won awards from organizations including the WGA, PGA, and Film Independent Spirit. Jeremy Allen White has also received individual recognition for his leading role, earning accolades from the Golden Globe, SAG, and Critics Choice awards.
