HGTV Orders Season 2 of Renovation Aloha
HGTV has ordered a new season of its popular show Renovation Aloha, starring married home renovators Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama. The network has commissioned 10 new episodes, slated to premiere in 2025.
The series will continue to follow the Kalamas as they take on house-flipping projects, transforming dilapidated properties on the island of Oʻahu into beautiful family homes. With over 13.9 million viewers for the first season, the show has been a success, and HGTV is anticipating an even larger audience for the new season.
Loren Ruch, Head of Content at HGTV, attributed the show’s popularity to the stunning Hawaiian backdrop and the dynamic presence of the Kalamas. Ruch also praised Tristyn and Kamohai’s “energetic optimism and deep connection to family and community” as key factors in the show’s appeal.
The first season of Renovation Aloha showcased the couple’s expertise in tackling substantial renovation challenges. With the help of their large extended family, many of whom work in construction, they navigated the unique difficulties of renovating homes in the harsh Hawaiian environment.
The new season promises to deliver more of the inspiring transformations that have captivated viewers. Fans can expect to see the Kalamas continue their journey, uplifting their community one house flip at a time.
Until the new season premieres, fans can stream the first season on Max® and engage with additional show content on HGTV.com and through social media platforms using #RenovationAloha.
