Rocky Mountain Wreckers Set for The Weather Channel
Great Pacific Media, a subsidiary of Thunderbird Entertainment Group, is gearing up for the release of its latest original adventure docuseries titled “Rocky Mountain Wreckers.” This thrilling series takes place on the treacherous highways of America’s I-80/I-15 interstate ring and chronicles the nail-biting escapades of four family-owned heavy wrecking businesses across three states: Mountain Recovery in Vale, CO; Stauffer’s Towing & Recovery in West Haven, UT; Reliable Towing in Longmont, CO; and Big Al’s Towing in Cheyenne, WY.
Commissioned by The Weather Channel television network in the U.S., with Bell Media as its Canadian production partner and holder of Canadian rights for Discovery Canada, “Rocky Mountain Wreckers” combines gripping narratives with stunning landscapes. It shines a spotlight on some of the most dangerous jobs globally while showcasing breathtaking natural surroundings.
“Rocky Mountain Wreckers captures the real peril and drama inherent in some of the most dangerous jobs in the world, set amongst some of America’s most breathtaking landscapes,” said David Way, President of GPM. “Not only do the companies we follow do some of the most challenging and unbelievable recoveries, but the series’ documentary subjects are also immensely entertaining and will make for great television.”

Executive producers David Way along with Todd Serotiuk , Millan Curry-Sharples ,and Michael Francis oversee production for GPM. By presenting an immersive look at these expert teams who risk their lives to maintain the flow of traffic on these vital interstate highways, clearing rollovers and collisions, “Rocky Mountain Wreckers” offers viewers a unique glimpse into an adrenaline-fueled world.
In addition to its heart-stopping action sequences and captivating storytelling, this series will also serve as a guide for viewers on safe travel during difficult weather and climate conditions.
