Tyler Perry and BET Expand Partnership

All the Queen's Men

Tyler Perry and BET have expanded their content collaboration with a new multi-year partnership that extends through 2028. This deal builds upon their existing relationship, which began in 2017 when Perry entered into a similar agreement with Viacom (now Paramount Global).

The new agreement includes renewals for several of Perry’s series on BET and BET+, such as “Sistas,” “The Oval,” “Assisted Living,” “House of Payne,” “Zatima,” “Ruthless,” “All the Queen’s Men,” “Bruh,” and a new scripted series, “Route 187.” Perry will deliver hundreds of episodes for these and other new shows.

BET Media Group president and CEO Scott Mills expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Tyler Perry is simply without rival as a creator of content that powerfully resonates with audiences across genres, formats, and platforms… We are thrilled to extend our extraordinary relationship with Tyler and to continue to be the home of the largest and most diverse collection of new Tyler Perry content for years to come.”

Perry, who also has deals with Netflix and Amazon, shared his gratitude for the support from Mills and the BET team. He acknowledged his loyal audiences, stating, “I’m excited to continue bringing these stories to the screen.”

This expanded collaboration highlights the success of Perry’s content on BET’s platforms, delivering the number one series across all TV among Black audiences and five of the top 10 series on cable among Black viewers. It also underscores Perry’s influence and impact in the entertainment industry, solidifying his position as a key content creator for BET.
