The episode also explores the mating rituals of lynx and the challenges faced by bears in autumn.
Episode Three, titled “Ice And Fire,” explores the dramatic extremes of the Nordic territories, including volcanic Iceland, the high tundra, and Arctic Svalbard. It showcases the survival strategies of polar bears, arctic foxes, and musk oxen in a world ruled by the pendulum of sunlight. The episode also delves into the impacts of climate change on the region and the unique adaptations of creatures like hot spring spiders.
