New Season of Stan Original Series Bump Now Streaming
Australian comedy drama ‘Bump’ returns for its fourth season on Stan! This Stan Original Series has become a fan favourite, capturing hearts with its endearing storyline and relatable characters. Created by the talented duo Claudia Karvan and Kelsey Munro, ‘Bump,’ which premiered in 2021, is back to deliver new adventures and challenges for the characters we’ve grown to love
In this new season, we find Oly (played by the talented Nathalie Morris) and Santi (Carlos Sanson Jr) two years ahead, trying to juggle the responsibilities of adulthood while keeping their small family unit intact. With their seven-year-old daughter Jacinda in the mix, life certainly hasn’t gotten any easier for them.
One of the things that sets “Bump” apart is its ability to tackle real-life issues with humor and heart, and this season is no exception. Oly’s first real job brings her face-to-face with a demanding boss, Shauna, who has some interesting ideas about work-life balance. Meanwhile, Santi grapples with redefining his role as a primary caregiver and faces new challenges along the way.
But it’s not just Oly and Santi who are dealing with the curveballs that life throws at them. The rest of the engaging cast, including Vince, Talia, and Ariel, navigate their own trials and tribulations, making for a compelling and relatable ensemble.
What I love about “Bump” is the way it weaves together moments of comedy and drama, creating a truly authentic viewing experience. The show doesn’t shy away from addressing tough topics, such as parenthood, relationships, and personal growth, but it does so in a way that feels organic and resonates with the audience.
Of course, the standout performances from the cast breath life into the characters we’ve come to know and love. Nathalie Morris brings a perfect blend of vulnerability and determination to Oly, while Carlos Sanson Jr shines as Santi, capturing the struggles and triumphs of being a modern-day dad.
Season 4 introduces some fresh faces to the mix. Award-winning stand-up comedian Steph Tisdell and legendary wheelchair athlete Dylan Alcott AO make their acting debuts in this season, bringing their own unique energy to the series.
‘Bump’ Season 4 premiered on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, on Stan, just in time for Boxing Day. If you haven’t caught up on the previous seasons yet, fear not – all episodes of Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are now streaming, exclusively on Stan.
