Richard The Lionheart (ITV 1962-1963, Dermot Walsh)

Richard The Lionheart is another slice of period action and adventure from The Danziger brothers this time the focus is on Prince Richard (played by Dermot Walsh) who, following the death of his father King Henry, returns home from the crusades to prevent his despicable brother John claiming the throne.

Prince John is not happy about that of course and will himself stop at nothing to be King. Meanwhile Richard also has to do battle with the Saracens and the French.
