New Scotland Yard: Daisy Chain (11 Aug 1973)

In Daisy Chain the murder of a prominent local J.P. leads to another case involving the 15 year old murder of a teenage girl. As Kingdom and Ward investigate it quickly becomes apparent that the two murders are linked.

A classic murder mystery plotline but Helen Lindsay, as the wife of the murdered man Sam Abbott, is the real highlight of the episode. Her disdain for Kingdom and Ward, especially Ward is very funny.
