PLEASE LET ME DIE – The United Nations has reported that many of the thousands of Ukrainian prisoners of war being held by Russia are being tortured. Scott Pelley spoke with three recently returned female soldiers, including a military doctor who became pregnant while being held captive; all three women were interviewed. The soldiers describe their harrowing experiences in captivity and their heroic initial reactions to being set free. The producer is Maria Gavrilovic.
TAIWAN – As tensions between the U.S. and China over Taiwan continue to rise, Lesley Stahl of 60 MINUTES travels to the island — a progressive, thriving democracy — to see how people on the ground are reacting to the possibility of an invasion from China. Shachar Bar-On and Jacqueline Williams are the producers.
