Today Thursday 30 March 2023, there is a new episode of Great British Menu.

The Finals: Dessert This week is the national finals of Great British Menu, when the winners of the regional heats fight to have their dishes served at a lavish banquet honouring animation and illustration in honour of Paddington Bear’s 65th birthday.

In each episode, the eight competitors face off over a different course, from appetiser to dessert, and are scored out of ten by a group of expert judges, one of whom is a well-known celebrity chef.

This time it’s comedy director and writer Morwenna Banks, who also voices Mummy Pig in the Peppa Pig series. In an effort to get their desserts on the menu for the gala, the cooks prepare them for her.
