Surrounded by members of the Vita Nova compound, Cash faces his defeat as ringleader Margot uncovers his and Justin’s charade. Fortunately, they are eventually released without any injuries, although their spirits are crushed. Meanwhile, Andrew is forcefully taken back by the compound henchmen, marking the failure of their plan.

Returning home early, Leah finds herself overwhelmed with the need to catch up and uncertain about their next move. Cash and Justin reluctantly agree that they may have to rely on the task force, but Leah is deeply troubled by Andrew’s absence. She questions how Justin could give up so easily.

Seeking solace and support from someone who knew her late husband, Kate visits Salt to meet up with Xander. Acting as a supportive friend, Xander offers her a place to stay for the night. However, their evening takes a somber turn when Xander’s reminiscing about Jamie triggers memories and tears.

The following morning, Kate asks Xander to join her and her son for a soccer match. Observing their interaction, Mackenzie starts to realize that Kate may be becoming overly dependent on Xander. On the other hand, Marilyn finds herself scrolling through her phone, revealing the threatening photographs she has recently received.

Concerned for Marilyn’s safety, Roo and John stand by her side and accompany her to the police station. Cash takes precautions to protect Marilyn but comes to a dead end when trying to trace the source of the threats. Marilyn and Roo remain on edge, and Cash feels apologetic for being unable to assist further. It’s yet another devastating blow for him.

Set in a fictional coastal town in New South Wales, Home and Away follows the residents of Summer Bay as they go about their daily lives.
