Infiniti Premieres Thursday 17 November on SBS On Demand
The intriguing new six-part miniseries Infiniti will premiere in November on SBS On Demand.
As the series begins a tricky docking manoeuvre at the ISS has gone wrong in the quiet darkness of space.
There has been a break in communication, and US Captain Anthony Kurz (Lex Shrapnel) and his crew have not been heard from. Head of operations at the Baikonur Cosmodrome Durkhov (Vlad Ivanov) is horrified because it appears that the crew will perish.
The French astronaut Anna Zarathi (Celine Sallette), who had a passionate relationship with Kurz six months earlier, believes he is still alive and is pleading with her for assistance from the International Space Station.
A decapitated body covered in wax is found by Kazakh police officer Isaak Turgun (Daniyar Alshinov) not far from Baikonur. He had previously looked into a case like this, but he had abandoned it due to pressure from his boss, Fef. He makes the decision to act alone this time.
At mission control, anxiety is rising as a satellite approaches the ISS. Kurz: Is it possible to be dead on Earth and alive in space?
Infiniti features dialogue in English, French, and Russian.
Airdate: Thursday 17 November 2022 on SBS On Demand.
