What can we expect from this episode

Friday night in east London, 17-year-old Jodie Chesney is stabbed in the back while hanging out with friends in the local park, prompting police to respond to a chaotic crime scene. Tragically, Jodie passes away on the way to the hospital.

Since this has turned into a murder inquiry, CSI teams have been dispatched while detectives search for clues. No one knows of anyone who would want to hurt girl scout Jodie, and the community as a whole is devastated by the attack. Witnesses believe there were two attackers, but it was too dark to get a good look at them.

Police use the massive amount of media attention on the case to make an important discovery: a black car matching the description of one dumped in the area was seen at the scene of Jodie’s murder. Three men have been linked to the car through forensic evidence, so the police are treating the vehicle as a second crime scene in their investigation of Jodie’s murder.

The killers are eventually identified after a forensic video analyst examines a buried CCTV clip.
