New Scotland Yard: Memory of a Gauntlet (ITV 6 May 1972)

In Memory of a Gauntlet a postman is found dead in his home surrounded by Nazi and S.S. regalia.

Definitely something of a strange episode. As Kingdom and Ward investigate further they discover that a neighbour of the Libbert’s was persecuted by Joseph. It’s easy to forget from this distance now that’s no longer in living memory just how close the early seventies was still to the events of world war II.
