Orange Is The New Black: WAC Pack (Netflix 11 July 2013)

Published

on

In WAC Pack Piper is having trouble on the outside as much as on the inside, her business partner Polly has now taken full control of their soap business (something you could see happening a mile away) and Larry has decided to write an article about Piper’s incarceration. Meanwhile now believing that Alex had nothing to do with her being inside Piper is showing a more friendly attitude towards her.

Daya has discovered that her mother Aleida tried it on with Bennett and slaps her face in the yard. Her “relationship” with Bennett moves on and during a “moment” discovers that he has a prosthetic limb.

Elsewhere the warden has decided to bring back the women’s advisory council meaning elections and someone has been taking explicit photos with a missing mobile and posting them on the net.

Flashbacks focus on Nicky, her drug addiction and her troubled relationship with her mother. There are also more flashbacks to the beginning of Piper and Alex’s relationship.

Hazell and the Suffolk Ghost

In Hazell and the Suffolk Ghost our intrepid hero pays a visit to the seaside when an accountant, Peter Harlow, calls him in over a cottage he has been left in a will. He has no idea why he has been left the cottage but since he has taken over ownership more than a few strange things have been happening.

Hazell stays at the cottage for a few days and manages to find no small amount of comfort when Harlow’s wife Stephanie turns up (Harlow himself is in New York). Although there is clearly something spooky going on it’s definitely man made and it doesn’t take Hazell too long to work it out.

The episode was a rare outing outside of London for the series, it was filmed in the East Anglian village of Walberswick and surrounds. Although all the interiors were filmed in studio of coure.
