Sue Perkins’ Big American Road Trip, a two-part documentary series, explores the rise of #vanlife in the United States.

Sue has never been much of a traveler, but she has always yearned to spend her days in the great outdoors and “on the move,” to get in the driver’s seat, punch the gas, and go wherever the road may lead. But if a road journey is what she’s after, the A1 isn’t the way to go. She needs to pack up her campervan and drive across two of the most gorgeous states in the United States: Colorado and California.

In the premiere episode, we tag along with Sue Perkins as she explores California, the “Golden State,” and the ultimate adventure road trip destination, complete with vineyards, famous driving routes, towering forests, and a magnificent coastline.
