Taking us to Medway and Dartford in Kent, this particular episode showcases a series of incidents that push the emergency call-out teams to their limits. Special Sergeants Dean and Ben join forces with Paramedic Mark as they are called to a knife fight in Gillingham. The situation is highly volatile, with one man wielding a machete described as “as big as a leg.” Although one man is uninjured but heavily intoxicated, he resists search attempts and even headbutts the windscreen of the JRU (Joint Response Unit) car.
Meanwhile, Special Constable Roisin and Paramedic Katy rush to a busy shopping center in Dartford following reports of a suspected terrorist bomb. In order to ensure public safety, they work alongside other members of the JRU team to keep civilians away from potential danger zones while awaiting controlled explosions carried out by bomb squad experts.
The action doesn’t let up there—a quiet Kent lane turns into chaos when a man loses control of his car after returning from golfing. The vehicle plows into a telegraph pole, damaging fences along its path and causing potentially dangerous power lines above. While it initially appears that the driver may have experienced some form of medical issue behind-the-wheel due to his diabetes condition; however fire officers suspect he may have also been driving under influence
In Rochester High Street paramedics Kat & special officer Jack attend an incident where woman falls forcefully striking her head – fearing she may suffer brain hemorrhage/bleed-special attention would be provided her . Finally , another team led by Paramedic Nathan and special officer Jack respond to a rural road traffic collision near Sittingbourne. The driver, who has rolled her car onto its side, miraculously escapes physical harm but confesses to having taken drugs earlier in the evening—raising concerns about potential underlying issues that contributed to the incident.
