Acorn TV’s “Harry Wild” Season 3 Renewal
Acorn TV has renewed its mystery series Harry Wild for a third season, set to premiere next year. The show, starring and executive produced by Jane Seymour, was a breakout success in its first season and continued to perform well in its second season.
“I am thrilled for another mystery-packed season of Harry Wild and can’t wait for our fans to see what investigations Harry and Fergus encounter in Season 3 on Acorn TV,” says Seymour. “It has been such a joy playing this multi-faceted character and returning to Ireland again to work with this talented cast and crew was fantastic.”
Seymour returns as Harriet “Harry” Wild, a retiring university literature professor at a crossroads in her life. The rest of the main cast, including Rohan Nedd, Kevin Ryan, Amy Huberman, Samantha Mumba, Paul Tylak, and Rose O’Neill, will also be returning for the third season.
The new season will pick up where the second season left off, with Harry and Fergus planning to contest a custody claim. The agency remains busy, and Harry and Fergus must find a balance between work and personal life. They will be tasked with solving various mysteries, including the death of a boy band singer, a decapitation in a restaurant, a murder on a soap opera set, and a locked room mystery involving a mystery writer.
In addition to the cases they take on, Harry and Fergus will also be involved in a personal investigation when a friend’s estranged husband is found dead in her fishpond. Love is also in the air, as Glenn plans to propose to his girlfriend Petra, while Harry finds herself falling for a charming fellow private detective.
The third season of Harry Wild will consist of six episodes and was filmed on location in Dublin, Ireland. All episodes are currently available for streaming on Acorn TV.
The show is produced by Dynamic Television, with Acorn Media Enterprises and ZDF co-producing. The third season is created and written by David Logan and Jo Spain, with executive producers including Jane Seymour, Daniel March, Klaus Zimmermann, James Gibb, Morgan O’Sullivan, James Flynn, Catherine Mackin, and Bea Tammer. Robert Quinn and Emer Conroy serve as directors.
