“Cross Country Cake Off” Returns to CTV on May 26
Starting on May 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, CTV’s original competition series Cross Country Cake Off will return with six brand-new episodes available on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. Mary Berg and Andrew Han, the show’s hosts, set out on another cross-country adventure, this time making two additional stops to meet 40 new cake artists competing for the grand prize of $50,000 and the title of Cross Country Cake Off Champion.
What is in store in the new season
In the upcoming episodes, hosts Berg and Han will be travelling to five different cities for regional qualifying rounds: Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal, and Halifax. Eight hopeful bakers compete in each regional episode by presenting their baked goods to the judges. Then, the top four bakers from each qualifying round advance to the Cross Country Cake Off kitchen for a timed cake challenge. One baker from each episode will go on to compete in the final round for the grand prize.
On the season finale of Cross Country Cake Off, airing Friday, June 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, the top five remaining bakers (representing their respective regions) will compete against a sixth mystery wild card baker, each hoping to be named the CROSS COUNTRY CAKE OFF Champion and take home the $50,000 grand prize.
