Deadly Intrigue: Series 24 of Midsomer Murders on ABC TV Premieres 16 February
Season 24 of the beloved British detective series, Midsomer Murders, is set to premiere next week on ABC. This long-running show takes viewers back to the fictional county of Midsomer, where DCI Barnaby (Neil Dudgeon) and DS Winter (Nick Hendrix) work tirelessly to unravel perplexing crimes while also delving into the idiosyncrasies of this charming yet treacherous region. Assisting them in their investigations are pathologist Dr. Fleur Perkins, his wife Sarah, daughter Betty, and their lovable canine companion Paddy.
The new season features four fresh episodes that made their international debut in November. The first episode, titled “The Devil’s Work,” introduces viewers to ancient families like the Shirewells who hold fast to tradition. However, when the eldest son disrupts five centuries of history by committing a shocking act, it sets off a chain reaction that unearths deep-seated resentments.
In this atmospheric instalment of Midsomer Murders, audiences can expect an engrossing exploration of familial secrets and hidden animosities against the backdrop of this picturesque English county.
Make sure to mark your calendars for Friday 16 February at 8.30pm when “The Devil’s Work” airs on ABC.
