Get ready for some late-night laughs, as CBS is set to premiere its new comedy series “After Midnight” on Tuesday, January 16th. Hosted by comedian Taylor Tomlinson, the show will air at 12:37 AM ET/PT on CBS and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
Inspired by Comedy Central’s Emmy Award-winning series “@midnight,” “After Midnight” brings a fresh and smart perspective to the silly and absurd things that take over the internet each day. With Tomlinson at the helm and a panel of guests from the entertainment, comedy, and music worlds, the show combines late-night comedy with a game show format. It’s a unique blend that promises to keep audiences engaged and entertained.
Produced by CBS Studios, Spartina Industries, and Funny Or Die, “After Midnight” boasts an impressive team of executive producers. Stephen Colbert, Carrie Byalick, Tom Purcell, and Evelyn McGee Colbert from Spartina Industries, James Dixon from Dixon Talent, and Joe Farrell, Mike Farah, Whitney Hodack, and Henry R. Muñoz III from Funny Or Die are all on board, along with Jason U. Nadler from Serious Business.
Co-showrunners and executive producers Jack Martin and Eric Pierce bring their expertise to the series, with Nadler, who co-created “@midnight,” also part of the team. Jo Firestone serves as co-executive producer and head writer, while Alexx Wells takes on the role of co-executive producer. Sharon Everitt rounds out the production team as the director.
